Excel Sum a Bunch of Rows Using the Same Formula (Mac & PC)

More commonly (to a majority of searchers) “Apply the same formula to multiple rows in Excel”

After you run a formula once, you can easily repeat apply it using “CMD+D”

In the video, I’m typing in a cell location that contains a number and dividing it by 365 to get a daily average. Since the table data is set up the same way, I can easily move down the list running the same formula without having to update the cell location or /365.

As the first manual formula completes, the focus moves to the cell below (visible by highlight) and I type “CMD+D” and continue moving down the list typing CMD+D at each stop to run the formula, quickly.

This is a simple example, but any formula can be applied using the same method.
